XLBCR is a food, travel and lifestyle blog run by CR Tan. Started in 2014, XLBCR was created to document CR’s many experimental recipes. He also wanted to use the platform to share his culinary adventures with friends and family. CR discovered his passion for food styling and photography through XLBCR. Apart from branded content, CR also shares original recipes, meal inspirations, and food porn. Head down to his booth to view some of his past works and a live demonstration of his food styling!

Scouring the island for stories, the team behind Our Grandfather Story creates poignant and thumb-stopping social content in the age of new media. The WKW Engage Conference 2017 features its first post-event inaugural industry mixer - a casual evening where professionals mingle with leading technology brands and explore mid-career opportunities.
WKW Engage Conference 2016 Speakers
The theme for 2016 was Navigating the Digital Economy, a look into industry best practices on communications through the digital platform. A selection of speakers gave insightful talks and discussions on big data, marketing communications, and influencer engagement.
Heidi Eusebio is a veteran in public relations and international communication including global strategic planning and consumer marketing. With over 20 years in the industry, Heidi leads consumer marketing in Southeast Asia and client relationship for Unilever business in APAC, Middle East and Africa to create integrated brand engagement ideas and plans.
As Head of Business Analytics & Customer Management in DBS Consumer Banking Group Singapore, Sharon is responsible for driving efforts to empower users through visual data analytics and the use of analytics to enhance sales management and client engagement. She has over 17 years of experience in product, portfolio and segment development/management and business analytics.
Tang Siang Hou
Siang Hou is the Analytics team lead in the APAC region. Prior to joining the agency, she has led research and data analysis teams in the Singapore Economic Development Board and Resorts World Sentosa. Her experience also spans strategy, planning, economic forecasting and business development, helping multinational companies realise their regional growth plans through their investments in Singapore.
On a daily basis, Cassi strategises innovative digital content and works closely with brands to engage with millennials on SGAG’s platforms. Her background as a strategic planner and graphic designer has helped her execute successful social campaigns for clients like McDonald’s, Sony Pictures & Carlsberg. Cassi is also an alumni of WKWSCI, and graduated with a major in Advertising & Public Relations.

WKW Engage is a society led by an executive committee of final year student leaders from Wee Kim Wee School of Communication and Information at Nanyang Technological University with a passion to shape the future of communication through continued education and collaboration.
Recognising that the media industry has an ever-evolving landscape with consumer trends that are constantly shifting, WKW Engage aims to bring together professionals in the communication industry to build know-hows and deepen understanding of trends and insights so as to better leverage on innovation and new technologies. WKW Engage is also a platform to expand the network for communication professionals and to facilitate career progression.
Founded in 2016, WKW Engage receives advice from Ms. Wong Pei Wen, a lecturer at the school.
